I LOVE Old Pictures!!!

This is a picture (of a picture) of my Nan's family when she was younger...
My Nan is the one on the far left with the curly hair!

And this is the first picture I've ever seen of my Nan's Dad when he was young!
It's a picture of a picture, that my Dad and Sue took from my Nan's sisters place (my Aunt Vi's)when they went to England.

I love this set from my Nan and Grandad... They had saved it for years for me...

Tea Cozy

This is the tea cozy that my Great Uncle Charlie (my Grandad's twin brother) gave me. I love it, it keeps my tea super warm - especially when I pre-warm the tea pot first with some boiling water like my Grandad taught me.

It's funny, I really cherish this tea cozy, and I have for a number of years now; but when my Uncle gave this to me, I didn't really want it... I thought it was kind of gay... But I took it because of my Uncle and his thoughtfulness. I find that with a lot of things, it takes some time to truly appreciate them. I really miss my Uncle...

The Biggest Impact

For me, I believe that we all have that one person who changes our life. That one person who shows us just what it means to be loved. For me, that's my Grandad. I have so many memories of him, and I love and miss him so much my heart yearns for him.

He showed me unconditional love. He loved me for who I was, even when I was never good enough for me. For anyone.
